Outreach Activities

Everyone who’s been to college knows that the most transformative experiences of these four years happen outside of the classroom. The purpose of this page is to showcase the organizations and experiences that have shaped my personal growth. Each opportunity has provided me with a chance to build meaningful connections, serve my community, and develop skills that will carry me forward as I begin my career.

Delta Sigma Pi

Kappa Tau Chapter

January 24' to Present

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

During my time as a brother in the Kappa Tau chapter, I have gained invaluable skills in professional and personal development and conduct. Joining this fraternity introduced me to some of my closest friends, and a network of driven individuals who are always looking to help a brother however they can.

Clemson Spanish Club

For the Fall ‘24 semester, as President, I managed the club’s budget, logistics, and communications while fostering relationships with Clemson staff. I organized and led cultural events, language workshops, and tutoring sessions to promote Spanish language and cultural understanding.

For members, the club brings together like-minded individuals who share a deep interest in studying Spanish and exploring the many rich cultures associated with the language.

Write for Hope

Fall 2024

Wanting to get involved in Clemson’s local community, I volunteered with Clemson Hope’s Spanish mentoring program. Once a week, I visited my assigned first-grade class, where I helped ESL students foster their language skills, confidence, and cultural adjustment through individualized support. I can say with confidence that I was just as much of a student as I was a teacher to my mentees. The opportunity to create a welcoming environment that promotes inclusion, and self-sufficiency was one of the highlights of my college experience.
